The quiz for Chapter 1 has been set for Tuesday, September 25, Day 1. Students need to study their notes booklet that we have been completing in class. Here is the completed booklet. There are a series of questions at the end of the booklet that need to be done for homework over the weekend.
Last night was meet the teacher night and these documents were given out and contain lots of useful information, please have a look through them.
Science Department Handout Curriculum Night 2018 MDJH Science Department Procedures for Missed or Late Assessments Department of Education Course Descriptors And welcome to my blog! This is my science page for 7-1 at MDJH.
On this website you will find all notes, worksheets, updates on what we are doing in class, homework, dates for tests and assignments. There is also a link to an online version of the textbook. Departmental regulations have changed regarding testing and we will be having a cumulative, end of year exam. That means we will need to keep our notes from throughout the year so students will need 4 duotangs for each of the 4 unit's notes and work. Students are asked to make sure they come to each class prepared with something to write with and have a duotang that they can put their handouts in as soon as possible. A few sheets of looseleaf would not go astray either. We have already finished Lab Safety. Here is the set of worksheets that were given out in class... they can also be found in the GRADE 7 SCIENCE NOTES AND WORKSHEETS section of this web site. |
