The Unit 4 Test will be held on Friday, June 16 in the morning.  Students need to bring their text books to the test room and pass them in before the test starts.  The replacement cost for a lost Grade 7 Science book is $78.85.
I have posted answers for the Review Sheet and for the  graphing activity that we have been working on for the last several days.  I have also posted a few Quizlets for Chapter 10 and Chapter 11 to help with studying.

We are in the final stretch! The final test will be Friday, June 16th in the morning. It will cover only Chapters 10 and 11 and there will be no quiz for chapter 10 in the interim. I have put the review sheet online.  I will post more as they become available.

Our Unit 3 Test has been set for Friday, May 5 (Day 3). I have posted the review sheet and answers and a couple of Quizlets. This test will cover chapters 7, 8, and 9.

Our Chapter 8 Quiz was moved from Tuesday to Friday (April 7) because of the snow day on Monday.  Students were given a review quiz on Tuesday and here are the answers for the previous worksheet.  

The quiz for Chapter 8 has been set for Wednesday, April 4th, Day 7.

Chapter 7 Quiz will be held on March 20.  I have posted the review sheet, the Tyndall Effect Lab and two worksheets: Classifying Mixtures and Pure Substances and Type of Mixture.

Science projects are due next week, Tuesday, February 28th.  Students must have their backboards and project guides completed to pass in and then we will start class presentations.  All of the information about science projects and copies of the project guides can be found in Google Classroom. Students will need their Google usernames and passwords to log in.

We have started Unit 3, Mixtures and Solutions.  Notes and presentation files have been posted in the Notes and Worksheets section of this website.

It is looking like we will end up with a snow day tomorrow.  If that is the case, the test will be given during our next class which will be period 3 on Friday (Day 3).

Today we finished going over the answers for the review sheet.  I gave out a Chapter 6 review quiz and a Unit 2 review quiz to be used for study. The answers can be found here.  Please note that some of the questions for the Chapter 6 review quiz are not being tested.  They are indicated on the sheet.  Please take extra care when reviewing the heating curves and graphing.  HINT HINT!  The ones we did in class were given back today.
