On this website you will find all notes, worksheets, updates on what we are doing in class, homework, dates for tests and assignments. The textbook we will be using is called Discovering Science 7. There is an online version of the textbook as well and the username is disc7_se and the password is studentED
Here is some general information about our class for 2019 including course descriptors from the Department, general science department procedures at MDJH, information about Science projects, exams, labs, expectations and lots of other goodies you should know about.
Departmental regulations have changed regarding testing and we will be having a cumulative, end of year exam. That means we will need to keep our notes from throughout the year so students will need 4 duotangs for each of the 4 unit's notes and work.
Students are asked to make sure they come to each class prepared with something to write with. All students have brought in duotangs to put their notes in. A few sheets of looseleaf would not go astray either.
We have already finished Lab Safety. Here is the set of worksheets that were given out in class... they can also be found in the GRADE 7 SCIENCE NOTES AND WORKSHEETS section of this web site, along with the answers.
