Quiz on Unit 4 Chapter 10 (Cells, tissues, organs and systems) will take place on Thursday, April 3.   Materials to study include: The Chapter 10 Power Point, your notes, the review sheet and the warmup quiz (which will be given out next class).

We have started our next unit - Unit 4: Cells, Tissues, Organs and Systems.  Today we watched a Bill Nye video on cells and students filled out a worksheet while they watched which they passed in at the end of class.

The unit 2 Test has been set for Thursday, March 13.  Students are to study all notes and worksheets that I have given out for Chapters 4, 5, and 6 as well as the review sheet for Unit 2.  Copies of everything can be found in the notes and worksheets section of this website.  I will be holding a Science help/study session after school on Tuesday in preparation for the test on Thursday.

Science Project Presentations are almost complete.  All students are invited to participate in the school science fair, which is being held on March 13.  It will take place during period 5 that day and after school.  Students will get 5 extra bonus marks added to their project if they attend.  Students will need to arrange their own ride home.
