Students now have the review sheet for the Unit for test. You can find copies here: Unit 4 Study guide for 2016 and answers. We have gone through all the answers in class. The test will be on Friday, June 17th in the afternoon. Good luck with it and have a wonderful summer!
We have started our last unit now. Students have been given one booklet for this whole unit that will do for the rest of the year. The chapter 10 quiz (parts of the cell and parts of the microscope) has already been given. The review sheet for the unit can be found in the notes and worksheets section of my website.

Students have been asked to complete the third section (Sci8.2.3 Refraction) of the Unit 2 Review Sheet for homework this evening in preparation for their Unit Test on Monday.
The unit 2 test will be held on Monday, May 9. That will be Day 4 in the schedule. It will include chapters 4, 5, and 6. The review sheet can be found here.
Quiz for Chapter 4 will be held on Tuesday, March 15, Day 6. Check the notes and worksheets section of this website to find current review sheets.
The test for Unit 2 (ch 7, 8, and 9) has been scheduled for February 9 Tuesday, Day 2). Students have been given a review sheet.
The science projects have also started. Students are to use this project guide to help document and direct their progress. The timeline for this project is as follows... February 1 - Project idea is due. (Fill this out on the project guide and submit that.) February 8 - Experimental plan is due. (Fill this out on the project guide and submit that.) February 22 - The experimental work needs to be completed. March 1 - Project is due. (All work, research, backboard etc. must be handed in) Class presentations will start that day. There will be a quiz for Chapter 8 on Friday, January 15.
Page 1 of the Density calculations worksheet has been assigned for homework. It was given out before Christmas, but extra copies can be found here.
