Students have been asked to make sure they come to class prepared with something to write with and have a binder or a duotang that they can put their handouts in. A few sheets of looseleaf would not go astray either.
Since class started, we have been working on Lab Safety. Here is the set of worksheets about Lab Safety that I gave out in class... they can also be found in the GRADE 8 NOTES AND WORKSHEETS section of this web site.
AND we are having our first quiz next week on Wednesday on all the Safety information we have been talking about in class. The things you will need to know for the quiz are the WHMIS symbols, safety equipment in the lab, and how to act safely in the lab.
